From Sandals South Coast, With Love | Episode 5 hello everybody uh it's Peter Mangus uh I oversee the sandal select guest program and I am thrilled to be here in Jamaica and more importantly I'm thrilled to be here at South Coast with my friend O'Brien O'Brien would you like to introduce yourself oh good to have you with us Peter I'm O'Brien heren and I have the absolute pleasure of being the general manager for this amazing Resort from The Insider perspective right what are the just give us the best spots let's go on a journey from The Insider view the GM perspective of the best spots on the road you know let me take you to some of my favorite spots right here on Resort ready Go's I'm ready let's do it this is the next stop on O'Brien's personal favorites list O'Brien where are we so we're actually at the Neptune spard area um this is a spot where our guests typically sit and relax prior to dinner or after dinner why is it one of my favorite spot the nice social space uh it's also where host Entertainment entertainment actually takes place so our live resident band performs right here by the Courtyard area and guess what if you're looking to do something like party like a late night disco kind of vibe and this is actually where it happens every single night of life so talk about nighttime activation talk about prior to dinner space for social activities this is is a spot this my favorite you're lighting up here I think you're jealous I think yeah my my My Little Secret every now and then I party like a rockar right here so we're actually at our chicken dippers deck chicken dippers is one of our two new dining concept here on Resort it's our Fried Chicken food truck very very popular spot here on Resort and it's specifically located in our Starlight Village or what people would have probably been accustomed to as returning guest as our Dutch Village um this Village is actually one of the quietest Village of villages on Resort and this food truck is located in the perfect spot because we really are able to step out of the pool to the bar to the truck and back in the pool I don't know what gets better than that in terms of a vacation me absolute perfection I have to comment because we are now almost next to we close to my favorite spot the property so about our Over The Water Bar latitude yeah should we have yeah all right let's go I'll order you a drink is that all right yeah let's go I'll take it yeah so latitudes is our over thewater bar it's one of the best social engagement spots here on Resort it's amazing to see the number of friendships and associations that get formed here and we're talking about guests who are probably first timers to the resorts or even returning guests who get to know each other and then they actually decide after that to to B future vacations together um latitudes is actually open in the daytime but it becomes as you're seeing right now primary spot for Sunset watching super super popular for that as an ideal spot right here on Resort now you can understand why it's my fav excellent so and mine too I can find you use it last time I was here I spent a little time inside latitudes talk about the Bungalows what's next so over thewat Bungalows as of today actually goes out for reim ination we're keeping the total number of bong that we have which is 12 we're spending the next 5 months taking it to what we call Next Level I really won't be able to get into the details of what it's going to look like but from what I am seeing in terms of design and all our drawings they are going to be out of this world I can't wait for them to deut to you my friend to your staff to the guests everything that keeps it going uh it is an amazing Testament to to again your leadership the team uh but but most importantly really the connection with the guests The Passion of the guests and the enthusiasm your team has to delivering a great day so cheers cheers and what I will say Peter a lot of our guests are asking what can we do what you can do is to just get on a plane and get here to Jamaica that way you're you're going to actually be able to make the biggest impact for us we want to get this Resort built again we actually want to see all our returning guests returning home to the sexy sand South poast looking forward to it awesome Cheers Cheers [Music]
