From Sandals Royal Caribbean, With Love | Episode 8 [Music] Peter Magus here the Jamaica Journey continues uh but it is coming to an end and we're saving the best for last we are here at sandal Royal Caribbean uh with one of my favorites uh Don Smith Don would you like to introduce yourself certainly hi world I'm Don general manager here at sandal Royal Caribbean and it's an honor to have you with us well I mean always save the best for last always that's what's important well so dawn has been the GM here and does a phenomenal job just to ask anybody here the resort looks fabulous yes the team the smiles are on full display so now let's get to the important stuff let's talk about and show off your great Resort here where would you like to take us first oh I'd love to take you over by High Grove that area is phenomenal and it's also one of the quiet pool area as well you want to just relax Lelo you don't want to go on the beach you don't want to hang around you know the food because you want to stay quiet and you know it's more like a romantic spot as well so let's go show off I'd love to excellent so don here we are this is hyro absolutely spacular tell us all about it okay this is one of our newest edition um we opened this area over 2 years ago almost two years ago with 48 wonderful rooms we have the swim out on the ground floor and spectacular view on the upper level um this is a very cool area where our guests come and hang out even guests from the overwater comes over here at times I'm surprised at that but I'm so happy because they want to you know mingle with everyone and also to experience you know other than their Butlers the true Jamaican Hospitality from our regular team members so we have our jacuzzi section here and a bar I was just going to say you've got your own bar tucked away here this is like a a little Oasis yes and still we have pool servers who serve them as well so they don't have to run back on the other side to get a drink we put everything in the way to make sure that they're comfortable and happy what a spectacular room oh my God a spectacular setting it is awesome and look where we're at you can swim right out to the bar this is I'm not so sure I'd ever leave here do my God you won't leave you don't want to leave and this is a club level unit this is a club level a unit so you don't you don't only have a bar inside the room there's one right in front of you absolutely great and the room is spectacular it ised and um and clearly a reflection of where you're taking Royal Caribbean where the company is taking uh sandals 2.0 it is just it is just [Music] spectacular we're looking at our private island and on the island it hosts 12 of our Bungalows overwater Bungalows and five of The overwater Villas including as well our wonderful Tire restaurant and our awesome authentic jerk Shack as as I said before it is a private transfer for our overwater guest we do have the dragon and that's one of the most amazing vessel that takes our guests over for dinner in the evenings but we use it throughout the day because it's such a unique vessel well that's what I was referring to I thought we're going to take the Dragon Boat everybody wants to be on the dragon so we we use it during the day as well um we also have a pool bar over there and a pool and a Jacuzzi where persons relax on a daily basis there's a there's a small Beach but you can enjoy the quietness over there we obviously have our sister property down the road so are the sandals Montego Bay guests able to come over and enjoy the amenity here this is such a special place oh yes it is and we as well have our guests that goes over and enjoy the facilities there as well we're one family so that's what we do excellent Don we've made our way around your beautiful Resort it looks fabulous um highlight for me was the Bungalows they always are the Private Island spectacular um a lot is on display relative to where you're taking the resort really reflection of sandal 2.0 we saw some of that in the in the units we saw tell us a little bit about where you're taking it next what what what do our guests have to look forward to okay number one I must say we're spending their money wisely and we are we have embarked on a an enhancement of the resort and it's reimagined sandal Royal Caribbean Resort and private island but it really is unbelievable unbelievable the next chapter of of Royal Caribbean is super super it's going to be super oh that's great yes so we can't way to have them coming home back to us so we're going to go there is a great way and the sun is shining and the weather is sweet the weather is sweet Don Smith thank you so much for having us pleasure
